Job Description

We are currently seeking a high energy, driven and results oriented Patient Scheduling Representative. The PSR is responsible for coordinating care for the patients within all service lines of the company. The PSR is the liaison between patient and field staff, many times serves as the primary point of contact for our field staff as well as our patients.

This position is a Full Time position and will work at our Corporate Headquarters in Otsego, MN

Major duties of this position include:

  • Primary responsibility is to schedule the field staff appropriately to the patient’s care needs.
    • Onboarding of new patients and ensuring appropriate staff coverage prior to intake
    • Notifying HR/Recruiting of staffing needs
    • Handles all call ins and quickly attempts to find coverage
    • Works with the patient’s responsible party to initiate backup plan if coverage cannot be obtained.
    • Notifying staff and patients when authorizations receives updates of approved patient hours.
    • Scheduling meet and greets for field staff with potential patients
  • Monthly retention calls for clients to provide any updates, see how they are doing with the staff they have, etc.
  • Monthly back to basic calls with field staff to ensure they are engaged with the company, provide updates as needed, etc.
  • PCA verification calls as required by state agencies.
  • Assisting HR with interviewing, employee changes, disciplinary items, and off boarding of employees as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 1-2 years scheduling experience required; health care experience preferred but not required.

Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exemplary organization and attention to detail skills
  • Skilled in operating office software applications such as Microsoft office suite
  • Proven ability to manage stressful situations with calm and poise.
